John Paul Douglas & The Bitter Trades bring you original American songwriting and an eclectic blend of versatile guest musicians from the central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Formerly established in 2010 as "Who Shot John," front man and singer-songwriter John Paul Douglas, along with long-time multi-instrumentalist band member and music co-producer Tyler Burch, step into their 2025 schedule as this re-envisioned iteration of their energetic live music performances. The Bitter Trades moniker aims to indicate the presence of a sonic expansion on stage with the addition of a number of talented guest musicians as the schedule year unfolds, creating a fresh new approach to John and Tyler's well-worn reputation as exceptional acoustic duo entertainers and recording artists.
